CASA BRAVA COFFEE

At Casa Brava Coffee, we bring the bold spirit of Colombia to every cup. We began our journey with a passion for sharing Colombian coffee’s rich flavours, rich traditions, and incredible craftsmanship. We have created a brand that celebrates quality, sustainability, and connection, inspired by our roots.

Who We Are

STORY ABOUT CASA BRAVA COFFEE

Our journey began with a deep-rooted love for coffee — not just as a drink, but as a connection to home, culture, and community. Born from memories of sharing fresh brews in our Colombian lands, our passion turned into a purpose: to bring the bold, smooth flavours of Colombia to coffee lovers in Australia. The tradition quickly evolved into a calling. We wanted to share more than just coffee — we wanted to share a story. A story of hardworking farmers, hand-picked beans, and a tradition that stretches across generations.

OUR MISSION

We partner with Colombian farmers who grow their beans with pride, passion, and a deep respect for the land. At Casa Brava, we support sustainable farming practices and help preserve the coffee culture of the communities behind each harvest.

We are committed to:

What Are We Doing

OUR ROASTED COFFEE BEANS

Our roasted coffee beans are sourced from the heart of Colombia, grown at high altitudes where cooler climates and fertile terrain produce exceptional flavour and aroma. Each bean is carefully selected and roasted to perfection, delivering a cup that is bold, smooth, and deeply authentic. We grow and roast our coffee bringing small batches of freshly roasted coffee to assure the freshness and quality of all our products. We invite you to experience the richness of our land, the strength of our heritage, and the love we pour into every bag.

ROASTING PROCESS QUALITY

We use traditional coffee processing practices, ensuring that each stage of the production process generates a high yield factor, allowing the best attributes and qualities of the product to be highlighted in a cup of coffee.

The main method used by our farmers is washing, which consists of removing the husk and mucilage from the fruit using a pulper. The beans are then immersed in water where they ferment to eliminate all remaining residue. Once the fermentation period is complete, which typically ranges from one to four days, the coffee beans are washed with water again and dried. This method helps reduce the risk of bean defects and is characterized by high acidity.
